What Is a Farma (Centering Plate)?
A farma, or centering / shuttering plate, is a reusable plate used as formwork to cast RCC slabs, beams and other concrete members. Plates are laid on centering supports to form the mould that holds wet concrete until it sets. Renting centering plates avoids the cost of buying large quantities for a single project.
